I was fortunate enough to see Louisiana doom titans Thou play two days in a row. The first was in a crowded basement and the second was at a record shop. Both gigs were different and it was interesting witnessing them play in two different venue types. After the second gig, I sat down with Bryan Funck, Matthew Thudium, and Mitch Wells to learn more about a band that stays true to the DIY spirit while maintaining an honest presentation.
'Grissicon' and 'Night Party' were crushing, just for the record.
